About synthesis with Mic (Audio In)

#1

For example, when Audio In is done with Mic on Cube, the display is skewed to the lower right corner of the screen.
However, if you look at the Kickstarter video on YouTube, you will see that the video is displayed quite smoothly even when input using the Mic (probably).

Is there any way to synthesize the audio with the Mic while having the Cube display evenly across the entire screen?

, Thanks

because of how it type of mic input works: it’s a bit fidgety. the first thing you can do is use a compressor or your input (this might be easy or a pain, depending on your actual setup).

the second thing you can do to have two trace plugins like this:

in the first plugin: leave “LFO” disabled, type a large number into “Length”, e.g. 5. This makes the covered part of the shape larger.

in the second plugin: enable “LFO” and nudge the “+From” slighter a tiny bit so that it covers different parts of the shape at different times.

does that help you already? with livecoding it’s possible to dive a bit deeper!

Thank you very much!
It’s pretty hard to adjust, but I’ve got it to display well overall by multiplying the Trace parameters!
