Blender camera pov


Can somebody explain to me how the size of the workspace in blender relates to the final output in oscistudio? How much space on the grid to I have to work with before objects are off the edge of the screen, and how does this change with multiple objects on screen? I know very little about blender so I apologise if these are silly questions, but how do I change the position of the topdown camera in blender that is sending images to oscistudio?
